Unlike traditional thick, homogeneous panels, each Armorbloks unit features a sophisticated composite sandwich design: a 3.5mm initial strike plate harder than any bullet (including armor-piercing rounds), a 13mm ballistic fiberglass core to absorb and disperse impact energy, and a 6.5mm back plate designed to absorb high-energy projectiles like .50 BMG without cracking.
The system is both UL752 Rev 12 and MIL-DTL-46100 compliant, ensuring the highest quality and hardness standards for withstanding enemy fire. Materials are sourced directly from SSAB in Sweden for superior steel quality, with ballistic fiberglass manufactured in the US by Avient.
